Coach Aranje, 14s Girls Assistant Coach
Coach Aranje started playing volleyball his Freshman year in college. He found it to be a way to meet people but quickly realized the joy in competition, training, and the opportunities that it presents to grow as a person. Becoming a coach was a serendipitous moment for Coach Aranje. One day, he was helping a player with her serve. By the end of training, the player had a light bulb moment where she was successfully able to make her serves over the net consistently. The opportunity to share knowledge and help players gain confidence turned out to be one of the most rewarding experiences.
“The sport of volleyball is more than just a ball sport. If you can view the court as a teacher there are many lessons to be learned about yourself and the world from it” - Coach Aranje
